John O’Hara has a broad-based ICT background and worked within Social care at a national and local level, developing intuitive reporting systems for adult and children’s social services. He was responsible for the development of the PADI system used by SSI and latterly CSCI/CQC, for managing the evidence for performance assessment and the star ratings for social care. At a national level he developed CSCI’s Performance Management system (CAiRE) and local performance systems within councils. His passion is to make information more accessible and useful, and his systems are designed for easy use, minimal cost and low dependency on external service providers. His recent work includes Care Intelligence Tools, a comprehensive report package for social care managers.
